Throughout my life I've found the strength required to overcome many challenges through poetry. Learning to let go, to hold on, to say yes, to say no, to fail, to succeed. To positively touch one heart, one life, one teenager, one adult, one decision in another’s life; this is my dream. Read with me and share your thoughts. My ultimate goal is to create a book of poetry that includes thoughts and feedback from those that are touched or inspired by my poems.

Grandparents Love, © 1994
To find a love
like my grandparents shared
"Till death do us part,"
those words were not spared...
For they loved beyond
the hardships and strife,
creating together
a beautiful life...
No burden too great
that they both could not bear,
not only the joy
but the pain they shared...
Believing in one another
they found their way,
to grow with each other
through each passing day...
Trusting in more
than just saying, "I do",
they looked to each other,
to answer, "How to?"...
Their children were raised
with kind loving hands;
together facing
the toughest demands...
Never turning away
no matter the cost,
believing to them,
they'd never be lost...
Unconditional love
they shared through the years,
regardless of the mistakes,
or nights spent in tears...
From, remember when
to, look at them now!!!
They set the foundation
for when, why and how...
No greater love,
could I have been shown...
To know one day;
I'll have for my own...

Our Father's Love, © 2008
I was just a girl
remember when
I came to you
to find a friend
Afraid of life
Afraid of love
Knowing not
of heaven above
Then in my heart
a peace was found
And to you my soul
forever was bound
Though still my life’s
been led astray
Before you here
I stand today
Asking only
that you let me come home
For no greater love
have I ever known
Now once again
I hear your voice
And how I feel
my heart rejoice
For not only have
you set me free
But you sent your son
to die for me
For the love you have
for us is such
That a Father can never
love too much............
