Throughout my life I've found the strength required to overcome many challenges through poetry. Learning to let go, to hold on, to say yes, to say no, to fail, to succeed. To positively touch one heart, one life, one teenager, one adult, one decision in another’s life; this is my dream. Read with me and share your thoughts. My ultimate goal is to create a book of poetry that includes thoughts and feedback from those that are touched or inspired by my poems.

Hope
The road back from nowhere is much to long
You'll find nothing right and everything wrong
It scares me when
you talk this way
Not wanting to live another day
Then laugh it off; again you will
Unaware that I am fearful still
It's not a joke, to want to die
For who should know, better than I
Some mistakes
can always be changed
Others even rearranged
But life and death are planned that such
One never hurts and the other too much
Don’t give in - don’t be deceived
For the life you’d end, can’t be replaced
And the pain you’re in
is just a phase
Please reach out
give hope a chance
Life may be sad but it’s also a dance
One in which we choose to partake
One in which so much is at stake
Though often dreams will come and go
The strength they build
will continue to grow
Creating in you a special place
Filled with joy and endless grace
This life for you is meant to be
I promise you this - for you once were me
