I was just a girl remember when I came to you to find a friend Afraid of life Afraid of love Knowing not of heaven above Then in my heart a peace was found And to you my soul forever was bound Though still my life’s been led astray Before you here I stand today Asking only that you let me come home For no greater love have I ever known Now once again I hear your voice And how I feel my heart rejoice For not only have you set me free But you sent your son to die for me For the love you have for us is such That a Father can never love too much............ © Dorothy Carr
